I have worked in the NHS for 17 years, concentrating on health campaigns and public health advice and information.
Turning 40 later this year is a huge milestone for me, and with it bought the need for change and personal development. In 2023 I began studying for my personal training qualifications, so I can support women aged 30 + to feel stronger, healthier and happier as well as build healthy habits that last.
I enjoy strength and conditioning, weights, boxing and walking. I have also completed a couple of 5k and 10k events and numerous virtual running and walking events from 10 miles to 200 miles (not in one go!).

I then took this one step further and enrolled in the Menopause Coach course by Menopause Movement (fully recognised by CIMSPA).

I now support women facing the rollercoaster of hormones and stages of menopause, to manage this life stage by using a unique mix of strength training and nutritional and emotional support.
Armed with personal experience of perimenopause, hormonal imbalance and the insights taught in these courses, as well as insights from my existing menopausal clients, I can now effectively coach and train women to reach their full health and fitness potential and stay well into later life.

I am a certified Mental Health First Aider. This means that if you are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or any other mental health problem, or perhaps you just have something that is causing you worry, I can listen and signpost you to where you can get the right support.

This skill compliments the personal training that I offer to improve women's overall health and wellbeing.
